XAUUSD Apr 5
Weekend thoughts on XAUUSD. That geopolitical news certainly shook things up Friday, but I'm wondering if we'll see a big gap open Monday. If tensions ease, gold could gap down hard. Need to watch that closely. Might keep positions light until we see how the week starts.

Yeah, that 4640 area is key. If it breaks and displaces lower, I'd be worried about a bigger drop. Need to see confirmation though.

@thomas7639 I agree about the geopolitical risk, it's a major wildcard. However, looking at the hourly chart, the RSI is climbing out of oversold territory and we're seeing some buying pressure around that 4640 pivot. A strong close above R1 today could invalidate the gap-down fears.
