Well, that was a rather swift move against my position. I entered a short on ETHUSD around 2250 earlier this evening, expecting some follow-through from the earlier bearish momentum and perhaps a reaction to the persistent inflation data suggesting continued dollar strength. However, the price has since dropped significantly to 2193, well below my initial entry. It seems my timing was off, and the market decided to punish my premature short. I've now closed the trade with a modest loss, learning that patience is key, especially when news events can be so volatile. It's a tough day for scalpers when moves are this choppy.

I saw your entry around 2250, and yeah, it looked like a decent spot to try and catch a falling knife, but it just kept going up for a bit. I think the inflation data might be having a mixed effect, and the news about Gemini facing lawsuits and that whole economic rebound talk in Canada is just adding to the noise. It's hard to get a clear picture when there's so much going on. I'm also watching this closely, trying to figure out the next move. Maybe it's just a temporary pullback before the real drop?
