XAUUSD appears to be consolidating near the R1 pivot point at 5121.98. Given the current RSI of 63, the bullish momentum might continue, but I anticipate resistance around the 5158.98 level (R2). A decisive break above R2 could signal a move towards 5200; however, failure to break may lead to a retest of the pivot point. I'll be watching for confirmation before entering a position.

Update: Monitoring the price action closely, and it seems the bullish momentum is waning slightly. The price is struggling to maintain above 5160. If it breaks below 5150, I expect a sharper decline towards the 5130 level. Will consider opening a short position if that level is breached with strong volume. Will update again later.

@sydDaniel45, I agree with your assessment of the R1 and R2 pivot points. I also think 5200 is key. However, I'm slightly more bearish in the short term. The RSI is high, yeah, but that could mean it's overbought. A potential fakeout before a larger move down is definitely possible. I'm thinking a short position around 5180-5190 with a tight stop loss might be worth considering. What are your thoughts on the potential for a short-term correction before the next leg up?
