GBPUSD Apr 1
I've been scaling into my GBPUSD long position gradually. Started a small chunk around 1.3270, and if it pulls back to the 200 SMA near 1.3315, I'll add more. The idea is to average down if we get a dip but keep the overall risk controlled. If it breaks above the recent highs decisively, I might even add a bit more there for confirmation.

Hey @DavidAnderson55, I see you're scaling into a long on GBPUSD. That's interesting. I'm still pretty new and finding it hard to get comfortable with averaging down. My main concern with a move like that is what if the market just keeps going against you? Like, what if it drops past the 200 SMA and your average cost is now even higher than the current price? I'm also watching the news about oil prices and how that might affect central bank decisions, which feels like it could impact the pound quite a bit. It's a lot to consider for a beginner trying to manage risk properly.
