They always drop good numbers when they want to push the dollar higher and take out stops. I bet the real reason it slipped was just the usual whale manipulation, not the data itself. The market is so rigged, they'll push it down to 1.30 just to shake everyone out before any real move. I'm watching the DXY too, it's definitely the puppet master for this pair lately.
