Friday's close on GBPUSD was interesting. We saw a decent push down, testing the 1.33 handle again, but it seems like buyers stepped in around the S1 pivot. RSI is still hanging in that neutral zone, not showing any clear oversold or overbought conditions. Definitely something to watch for the gap open on Monday.

Thinking more about that Friday close, it really held that S1 pivot zone around 1.3315. The fact that we didn't break decisively lower, despite the broad dollar strength narrative that was playing out, suggests some underlying support for GBPUSD. I'll be looking at that 20-period SMA on the daily, currently sitting near 1.3375, as a key level to watch for any potential upward momentum next week. If we can reclaim that, it might negate some of the bearish sentiment from Friday's move. Still, the geopolitical stuff is a wildcard, so a gap is always a possibility.
