I'm trying to learn more about using SMAs for my BTC trades. I know the 200 SMA is a key level, but I'm still not sure how to use it effectively. Anyone have advice for a beginner? Also, is the Senate decision going to have a big impact on crypto? I'm worried about more regulation.

Hey @lscott749, SMAs are definitely a good starting point. I'd say don't rely on just one indicator though. Combine the 200 SMA with something like RSI or MACD to get a better picture. Also, the Circle news is interesting, shows institutional interest in crypto isn't going anywhere. Regulation is always a concern, but smart money is already adapting. Keep learning and don't get rekt!

Hi @lscott749, SMAs are useful but can lag price action, so be careful. Try using them in conjunction with price action like breaker blocks. I think the 200 SMA is around 69700 right now, so watch for reactions there. As for the Senate decision, it could definitely increase volatility. Regulation is always a double-edged sword for crypto. Could be bad short-term but good long-term. NFA, just my 2 cents.
