Hmm, that Friday close was pretty ugly, yeah? Barely holding above 5000. I'm not convinced the dip buyers will step in this time. RSI is oversold, but that can stay oversold for a while, especially if the news keeps pushing it down. Might be another red week ahead, unfortunately.

Yeah, gotta be careful. I'll be watching for a potential dead cat bounce early in the week, maybe around that 5020-5030 area, but I won't be FOMOing in. If it breaks lower, could see a test of recent lows pretty quick. Probably best to wait for confirmation before making any moves. NFA of course.

Oh and i reckon there's a fair chance we gap down on monday morning too. Gotta love those weekend gaps haha...

@noahmurphy31 I totally agree about that Friday close being concerning for XAUUSD. That break below 5000 feels significant, and the RSI is definitely not giving a strong buy signal yet. I'm also wary of weekend gaps, they can be brutal. I'll be keeping a close eye on that 5020-5030 zone you mentioned as a potential rejection area.

@noahmurphy31 I hear you on the Friday close looking rough, but I think you're reading too much into it. That RSI is screaming oversold on XAUUSD, and with the current geopolitical situation, I can't see gold just rolling over. We're due for a snap-back rally, and I think 5000 is definitely back on the table sooner rather than later. This isn't the kind of environment for sustained drops.
