Okay, so I've been staring at the DXY chart for a while now... 🤓 And I'm wondering about the SMAs. The 20 SMA is above the 50 SMA, but both are below the 200 SMA. Does that mean we're in a short-term uptrend but a long-term downtrend? 🤔 Or is it more complicated than that? I'm also trying to figure out if the pivot points can give me any clues. R1 is at 96.67, so if it breaks that, maybe it'll keep going up? Just thinking out loud here... would love to hear what you guys think! 😊

@sitiskier Hey Siti! Yes, that's generally how it works with SMAs, but remember to look at the bigger picture too. News and overall market sentiment can change things quickly!
@sitiskier Siti, I'm also new to this, but my understanding is that you're on the right track. The 20 above the 50 but both below the 200 is mixed. Short-term up, long-term maybe down, but it's never that simple. Gotta look at other indicators and news too. Don't trust just one thing, that's what I'm learning!
