I've learned that trying to time the exact bottom or top is a fool's errand. It's much safer to wait for confirmation after a move has already started, even if it means missing a few pips. Patience is definitely key, and I need to stop chasing trades. My portfolio took a beating last week because of that impatience.

@swhite961 I totally get what you mean about waiting for confirmation. I'm new to this and tried to catch a falling knife last week and got absolutely wrecked, ended up being a bag holder for a bit. It’s so tempting to jump in when it looks like it’s about to rocket up, but then you see it drop back down and you’re just staring at losses. Is it always like this with Bitcoin, where it swings like crazy? I saw some articles saying it’s supposed to be like gold now with all the economic worries, but it feels way more volatile than gold ever did. Just trying to figure out if I should even be looking at it right now or just stay out. Feels like I'm going to lose sleep over this overnight.
