It's interesting to watch EURUSD behave so independently sometimes, especially when you consider how the USD index often moves in tandem with other USD pairs. For example, the AUD/USD has been showing some bullish signs above its 50-day SMA, suggesting a potential move higher for the Aussie. However, EURUSD seems more influenced by the European economic outlook, particularly with that concerning news about potential stagflation due to energy disruptions from the Iran situation. This divergence implies that while the US Dollar might be weakening broadly on delayed Fed rate cut expectations, the Euro is facing its own unique set of pressures. It’s a good reminder that correlation isn't always 1:1 and each pair has its own fundamental drivers that can override general dollar sentiment.

@mnair666 Yeah, EURUSD's been weird. I think the news about the Fed being unsure on rates is messing with the dollar more than anything. Saw that USD/JPY jump too, crazy. I'm just watching EURUSD right now, looks like it might bounce from around 1.15600. Going to put a quick long on if it holds.
