I'm trying to understand the relationship between the Bollinger Bands and price action on XAUUSD. Currently, the price is near the upper band. Does this typically indicate an overbought condition, or could it signal continued upward momentum? I'm still learning how to interpret these signals effectively. What are your thoughts?

Update: I'm also looking at the pivot points. R1 is at 3888.52. If we break above that, it might confirm the upward trend.
@warda887 From what I understand, price near the upper Bollinger Band *can* mean overbought, but it's not a guarantee. I'd look at other indicators too, like RSI, for confirmation. Good luck!

@warda887 Bollinger Bands can be tricky. Price near the upper band *might* mean overbought, but it could also mean the start of a strong uptrend. Watch for confirmation with other indicators.
