I've been scaling into my BTCUSD positions lately. If price breaks above the 50 SMA and shows a strong bullish candle, I'll add a small portion. Then, if it clears R1, I add another increment. This way, my average entry gets better as the trend confirms, rather than FOMOing in at the start.

Just realized that with the oil price spike affecting transport costs, it's more important than ever to manage my BTCUSD entries precisely. If I get stopped out on a scaled-in position, I'm not chasing it; I'll wait for a clear displacement candle or a retest of the breakout level.

Yo @RajeshM27, your scaling strategy sounds solid and all, but where's the fun in that? 😂 I prefer to just go full YOLO and let the leverage do the work! 100x margin long at 66k, baby! Either we're lambo or ramen tonight, no in-between. Seriously though, I respect the discipline, but I just can't sit on my hands and wait for confirmations. When I see a level, I hit it hard. Saw that price action drop to the low 65s earlier though, almost made me sweat a bit, but it bounced back quick. Still, your point about not chasing is valid... I've learned that the hard way too many times, blowing up my account chasing pumps. But hey, today feels different! Gotta trust the gut sometimes, right? 🤞🚀
Hey @RajeshM27, your scaling strategy sounds way smarter than what I've been doing. I just jumped in long yesterday around 68k with a crazy amount of leverage and got absolutely wrecked. 😩 Lost like 1.5% of my account in minutes. Definitely not chasing anymore, that's for sure. Maybe I should try your method next time if I ever get my confidence back lol.
