Right, weekend chart analysis on USDJPY. Looks like it's bouncing between the Bollinger bands. RSI is below 50, so slightly bearish there, but nothing too dramatic. I'm thinking we might see a bit of consolidation next week, unless there's some major news that shakes things up. Keep an eye on those pivot points, they could be key.

Just to add to my previous thoughts, I'm a bit concerned about the overall market sentiment. It feels like everyone's waiting for the next big thing to happen, which makes it difficult to predict any clear direction. I'm leaning towards a cautious approach next week, maybe scaling into positions slowly rather than going all-in at once. Plus, the 200-day SMA is still looming above, so that's definitely a level to watch. Could act as a strong resistance. Better safe than sorry, as they say. Anyone else feeling the same?

update: Might be worth watching for a gap opening on Monday, given the weekend news flow. Always a bit risky holding over the weekend, innit?

@finley968, mate, your weekend analysis is spot on! That Bollinger band bounce is exactly what I've been watching too. RSI below 50? Yeah, that's a bit of a worry, but I reckon the bulls might just have enough steam to push through. I'm with you on the consolidation idea, though. Could be a sideways shuffle for a bit before any major moves. News is always the wildcard, isn't it? One minute we're all happy traders, the next we're staring at a chart wondering what went wrong.
