This weekend is dragging. Seems like forever until Monday open. I've been reviewing the Friday price action and the implications of that Iran news. Hoping for a clean open without too much of a gap, but you never know with this market. Just want to get back to analyzing the charts.

The Iran news definitely threw a curveball into the markets, and it's no surprise gold took a hit. I'm with you on hoping for a clean open; I hate starting the week with a massive gap against my position. From a technical perspective, I'm watching the pivot point around 4662. If we can break above that with conviction and hold it as support, I think we could see a push towards R1 at 4677. However, if that 200-day SMA at 4526 gets tested again, it could get ugly. The RSI is sitting right at 50.4, so it's really a coin toss at this moment. We need more price action to confirm a clear direction for the upcoming week.
