This feels a bit like that sharp correction we saw back in late 2022. Remember how gold just plummeted for a few days straight, then bounced hard? I'm not saying it's the same, but this rapid fall from the highs and the oversold RSI is making me recall that period. Hope it doesn't just keep bleeding out though.

Hey @laurenallen55, I totally get what you mean about that 2022 feeling! It's scary when gold just starts dropping like that. I'm pretty new to this, so when I see it fall from the highs, my first thought is just 'oh no, I bought at the wrong time again!'

I'm watching XAUUSD right now and it's not really moving much, just hovering around that 4500 level. It makes me nervous because I don't know if it's going to stay here and then suddenly tank, or if this quiet period is just before a big jump. I heard something about tensions easing between the US and Iran, and that's supposed to be good for things like gold, but then the economy feels shaky too? It's all a bit much to take in when you're just trying to make sense of it all and not lose your shirt.
