This upcoming CPI data is going to be HUGE. The way gold has been reacting to every little hint of inflation and geopolitical stress lately... if this number comes in hot, I can see gold absolutely blasting off past 4700, maybe even higher. I'm already positioning myself for it, got a decent chunk of my account on a long swing. It feels like a trap is being set for the bears if the numbers support a higher gold price. All the talk about yields and dollar weakness just adds fuel to the fire. I'm watching the news wires like a hawk for any pre-announcements or leaks, but honestly, I think the market is already pricing in some inflation. It's gonna be fireworks.
