Gold's been on a tear lately! I'm seeing the SMA 20 crossing above the SMA 50 on my charts. Does that usually mean a continued upward trend? I'm still learning how to interpret these signals, any advice is appreciated!

@meeranair28 Hi Meera! Yes, that SMA crossover is usually a bullish signal! But remember, no signal is perfect. Always good to look at other indicators too, like the RSI. If it gets too high, it might be overbought! Happy trading!

@meeranair28 Hi Meera, that's a great observation! The SMA 20 crossing above the SMA 50 is often seen as a bullish signal, sometimes called a 'golden cross'. However, it's not always a guarantee, so be cautious. It's best to use it in combination with other indicators and consider the overall market context. For example, is the RSI also trending up? What are the Bollinger Bands showing? Also, always remember to set a stop loss to protect your capital in case the trend reverses. Good luck with your trading!
