The GBPUSD is currently exhibiting a period of indecision. Price action is hovering around the 1.3500 level, and there's a lack of strong directional momentum. I think traders should exercise caution and wait for a clearer signal before initiating new positions, perhaps after a news release.

Update: Further to my earlier comment, I've noticed that the 20-day SMA is acting as dynamic support around 1.35037. However, the 50-day SMA at 1.35358 is looming as potential resistance. A break above the 50-day SMA could signal a bullish move, while a sustained move below the 20-day SMA might indicate further downside. The RSI(14) at 43 is not providing a clear signal, so I'm closely monitoring price action in relation to these key moving averages. Discipline is key here. Patience.

@bajaji69 I get what you mean about indecision! It's like GBPUSD can't make up its mind whether it wants to go up or down 🤣. Waiting for a news release is a good shout, but sometimes those just cause more confusion, don't they? 🤔 I'm still learning, so maybe I'm missing something, but it feels like we're stuck in a sideways trend for now. I'm too scared to open any big positions before I see a clearer direction. Maybe I'll just stick to my demo account for now LOL.

@bajaji69 I see what you mean about the indecision. I'm relatively new to this, but the lack of momentum you mentioned is concerning. I'm hesitant to enter a position without a stronger signal. Do you usually wait for a specific indicator to confirm direction, or is it more about observing the price action?
