Continuing on that risk management point, I also try to avoid over-leveraging. It's tempting when you see quick moves, but it amplifies losses just as much as gains. With the current volatility, especially with that geopolitical news influencing things, I'm sticking to tighter stops and smaller position sizes. I saw the Dollar weaken earlier, which should have helped gold, but it seems like broader risk aversion is overshadowing that for now. Trying to keep emotions out of it is the hardest part, though.

Hey @adam4174, I hear ya on the leverage thing. It's like a siren song, right? Seeing those quick pips and wanting to just go all in with 100x. But then you look at what happened Friday, gold dropped hard and fast. That geopolitical news is definitely a wild card. I saw it stabilizing a bit near 4700, which is weird given the turmoil. Makes me wonder if it's a trap or if something else is brewing. I'm just waiting for Monday to see if it gaps up or down on that news reaction.
