I've been reviewing my trades from last month, and it's clear that chasing quick profits based on news headlines alone, without proper risk management, is a recipe for disaster. I got burned on a couple of speculative shorts when the market suddenly reversed due to unexpected economic data. It's a harsh lesson, but I'm implementing stricter stop-loss orders and position sizing from now on. Diversification across different asset classes, even within crypto, seems more prudent than betting the farm on a single narrative.

I noticed in the recent headlines about ETH struggling near $2450 and the support at $2100 being watched closely. It makes me wonder if jumping in on short-term news plays is just a fast way to lose capital, especially with thin liquidity during these quiet sessions. I'm trying to focus more on the underlying trend and manage risk strictly, even if it means missing out on some quick moves. Still, it's a constant battle with that temptation.

Solid points, @rubyking82. I've definitely been guilty of FOMOing into trades based on a headline. It's so tempting to jump in when you see the market moving fast. But you're right, without a solid plan and risk management, it's just gambling. I got caught out a few times last week trying to catch a falling knife, ended up getting rekt. Sticking to my strategy and waiting for proper setups now.
