Saw a pretty decent YouTube breakdown on XAGUSD this morning. The guy was talking about how sideways action like this in Sydney can often precede a big move, either up or down. He mentioned watching for volume spikes to confirm the direction, which makes sense. Guess we just gotta be patient and wait for the Asian session to really get going.

Oh and another thing the streamer mentioned, which I'd forgotten about, is how these low volume periods can sometimes be manipulated by smart money. They can push the price around a bit more easily with less capital. So when you see it bouncing between 73 and 73.20, it might not be pure organic flow. He said to look for specific order blocks or breaker blocks that might get retested after the real volume kicks in later. I’m still learning to spot those properly, but it's definitely something to keep in mind when the market feels this dead.

@noah7455 Yeah, I'm starting to see what you mean about the sideways action. It's really making me nervous though. I saw something on a news site about Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, and it sounded pretty tense. I'm worried that if things flare up there, it'll push silver down even more. I'm also getting a bit freaked out by the price action in New York – it's all over the place and I don't know if I should sell my position or hold on. It feels like a trap is being set for us beginners. I'm not sure what to do with my silver position, it's down quite a bit already. Should I cut my losses before bed?
