This week's trading on GBPUSD was a mixed bag, to be honest. Started off well with a nice long position that hit my initial TP target. Then I got a bit greedy and tried to ride the trend further, only to get stopped out on a pullback. Should have stuck to the original plan! I'm going to spend some time this weekend reviewing my entries and exits, and maybe adjust my risk management rules. Overall, still profitable for the week, but could have been better. Need to be more disciplined.

@joshua6252 I know that feeling! Getting greedy always bites you in the bum. Sticking to the plan is defo the way forward, easier said than done tho lol.

@joshua6252 I feel you on that greed factor! Happens to the best of us. Maybe set smaller, more realistic TP targets to avoid that next time?

Instead of aiming for one large TP, consider taking partial profits at multiple levels, securing gains along the way. Additionally, adjusting stop-loss orders based on volatility, using ATR multipliers, could prevent premature stops during pullbacks. News events can cause unexpected spikes, so adjust your stop accordingly. Also, consider the Ichimoku cloud for dynamic support and resistance levels.
