This quiet Sydney session for XAUUSD reminds me a bit of how EURCAD can behave sometimes, just drifting sideways with very little conviction. It's like both markets are waiting for a big catalyst. I'm watching the RSI on gold, it's pretty oversold down near 26, which usually signals a bounce is due, but the longer-term trend is still bearish with the 200 SMA way up at 5083. Makes you wonder if this is just a pause before another leg down or a chance for a decent swing trade higher.

And that RSI divergence might be forming on the H4 chart too, definitely something to keep an eye on. 🤔

@snehagupta Yeah, that RSI is definitely screaming oversold right now, sitting at 29.5 on the daily. I saw it dipping below 30 on Friday too and it made me a bit nervous about my small long position from 4500. You mentioned divergence on H4, I'll have to pull that up. It's always tricky when you have such strong bearish momentum but the oscillators are hitting extreme levels. Last week's close was pretty brutal, a big drop like that usually means there's some serious selling pressure. I'm just hoping we don't gap down hard on Monday, that would really put me in a tough spot. Might just close my position pre-emptively if it looks too risky.
