Hi everyone, I'm trying to understand how economic indicators affect ETHUSD. I've been reading about inflation rates and interest rate decisions, but I'm not sure how to translate that into actual trading strategies. Does anyone have experience using these indicators to trade ETH? I'm seeing the price is below the 50 and 200 SMAs, so does that mean it is a good idea to short? Any advice would be appreciated, thnk you!

Hey @pjain932, yeah, economic indicators can be tricky. Think of it like this: strong economy = good for ETH (usually). But it's never that simple lol. Start with the big ones like inflation and interest rates, and see how they've historically affected ETH. Don't bet the farm on it tho, technicals are still important!

@pjain932 Hi Pooja! Economic indicators can be tricky. I usually look at the news and then check how the market reacted historically. For ETHUSD, keep an eye on tech stock news too. Good luck! 👍

Hey @pjain932, I'm also pretty new to this but I've been trying to correlate ETH with the dollar index (DXY). When the dollar weakens, ETH tends to go up. Watch out for inflation reports and central bank meetings, those usually move the market. It's not a perfect science though tbh.
