I'm thinking about trying a small position on SOLUSD. It's been consolidating for a while, and it looks like it might be ready to break out. I'm still not sure which direction it will go. I have a feeling it will go up though. I'm going to set a tight stop loss just in case I am wrong. I'm still trying to figure out how to day trade this stuff. It is hard to make money when you are trading with a small account.

Before entering, analyze the trading volume during the consolidation period. A breakout with low volume might be a false signal. Also, define your risk-reward ratio precisely. Tight stop losses are good, but ensure they align with the Average True Range (ATR) to avoid premature exits due to normal market fluctuations. Backtest your strategy on historical data to assess its viability.
