I am relatively new to trading, and I'm trying to understand ETHUSD's current trend better. The SMAs seem mixed, with the price hovering around the 200-day SMA. What are your thoughts on the reliability of SMAs in such a volatile market? Is there any other indicator that might provide a clearer signal?

Update: I've also been looking at the Bollinger Bands, which seem to suggest ETHUSD is trading near the lower band. Does this indicate a potential oversold condition, or could it signal further downward momentum? Any insights on using Bollinger Bands effectively in conjunction with SMAs would be appreciated. i am trying to get better at this.

@amit5664 SMAs can be helpful, but they lag. RSI might give you a slightly earlier signal, but even that isn't perfect. It's all about risk management and using multiple indicators together.
