Seriously tho, Ryan is spot on about these XAUUSD spreads! It's like they're trying to bleed us dry before we even get a chance. I tried to place a small buy order at 4650 earlier and it just kept jumping around, ended up getting filled like 10 ticks higher. Absolute joke.

Hey @sophie7626, I hear you on the spreads. It's definitely something to watch out for, especially on XAUUSD where it can get wild. Friday's close was around 4749, and I saw some slippage too on a small order I was testing. It's frustrating when you're trying to scalp and the broker eats into your potential profit before you even get moving. I'm still trying to find a reliable broker that doesn't have these crazy wide spreads during volatile times. Maybe it's worth looking at your order execution settings or even considering an ECN account if they offer it. For now, I'm just staying out and waiting for calmer seas or at least more predictable price action next week.

Yeah @sophie7626, the slippage can be brutal on XAUUSD. Friday was pretty choppy around the close, hard to get fills at ideal prices.
