Alright, weekend analysis time. DXY seems stuck in a range. Plan is to watch for a breakout on Monday morning. If it breaks above 96.70, I'll consider a small long position with a tight stop loss. Otherwise, I'll stay out and wait for a clearer signal. Gotta be nimble, like a monkey in the market jungle, haha!

Update: Thinking about it more, the RSI is still below 50, so the upward momentum isn't really there. Maybe a short position is better if it breaks below 96.50? The Bollinger Bands are pretty tight too, which usually means a big move is coming. Hmm, gotta be ready for anything. I'll also keep an eye on the 50-day SMA. If it can't break above that, it's probably going down. Let's see what Monday brings, fingers crossed I don't lose my shirt!
