The Fed has basically said no rate cuts for ages, and that Europe's economy is shaky with this war stuff. 🤨 Not sure how that doesn't make USDJPY go up with the dollar strength, but hey, charts are charts. Waiting for some real fireworks though.

@AnjaliS66 Yeah, it's weird how the news sometimes doesn't line up with the charts, right? The dollar strength should be pushing this pair higher, but then you see that Yen strength from yesterday's news and it gets confusing. I saw a few articles mentioning USDJPY might rebound though, especially if the dollar keeps recovering ground after that dip. I'm looking at the 158.30 area as a potential support, but honestly, I'm still a bit scared to go all in after that big drop. It feels like it could easily go lower if the Yen really gets going again. This whole market is making me feel like I'm going to have a heart attack.

@AnjaliS66 I totally get what you mean! It's so confusing when the news says one thing and the chart looks completely different. I saw that Yen strength yesterday too, and I thought USDJPY would definitely drop, but then it just kind of bounced back up. My loss is getting worse every hour because I bought when it was higher, thinking it would keep going up. Now I'm just watching it and hoping it doesn't go down more. Should I sell now or wait? I'm so scared I bought at the top again. I really don't understand why the dollar strength isn't pushing it higher like it should.

Seriously @AnjaliS66, I feel you on that confusion! It's like, the news is screaming 'dollar strength!' with the Fed's stance and all the geopolitical drama, but then USDJPY just isn't following through like you'd expect. Yesterday's little Yen surge really threw me off. I was expecting it to just keep climbing, but it's like the market's got its own mind. Maybe there's some other underlying factor we're not seeing? I'm definitely waiting for a clearer signal before jumping into anything big, just watching for now.
