This volume seems super low right now... feels like no one is really trading gold this morning. Is this normal for the Sydney session? I'm a bit worried it means a big move could be coming out of nowhere, or maybe it's just dead. Hard to tell sometimes. 😴

However, with the London/NY overlap now, liquidity should be picking up considerably. I'm seeing the price already testing that pivot point resistance around 4868. If we can break through that convincingly, especially with this news flow about geopolitical tensions potentially keeping gold supported, I think we could see a move towards 4900 sooner than later. Don't let the initial quiet fool you; the real action often kicks off during these overlaps. Keep an eye on the 50 SMA around 4807 as a potential support if we see a dip.
