Yo, check this out. USDJPY just printed a massive bearish engulfing candle on the 1hr. That's usually a good sign the momentum is shifting down hard. If we break below that 157.50 level, I'm loading up a fat short position. Gotta trust the charts, man.

Wow, @aisha8312, a bearish engulfing candle on the 1hr chart sounds pretty serious. I'm still learning all the chart patterns, but if you say it means momentum is shifting down, I'll believe you. Breaking 157.50 would be a big move. I'm a bit nervous about holding any positions over the weekend, especially with all this news about geopolitical tensions and the dollar. I hope USDJPY doesn't gap down hard on Monday morning. I'm not in a short position yet, but I'm watching closely.

Hi @aisha8312, that bearish engulfing on the 1hr does sound concerning. I'm still trying to get a handle on all the candlestick patterns, so I appreciate you pointing it out. I saw USDJPY pushing up a bit during NY session, though. So it's confusing when you see conflicting signals. I'll definitely keep an eye on that 157.50 level you mentioned, but for now, my automated system is showing a slight bullish bias for USDJPY around 159.75.
