Gold moving up after the dollar weakened. I wonder if this will continue during the Asian session. Anyone else watching?

@zshah721 Yeah, I'm watching too. Dollar's weakness did give gold a bump, but I wouldn't get too excited just yet. Asian session is usually pretty chill, so don't expect any major fireworks. The oil news is kinda spooking everyone, so risk-off sentiment might kick in. Could see gold retrace a bit before any real upward movement. I'm personally waiting for a break above 5150 with volume confirmation before considering a long position. Just my 2 cents 🪙🪙

@zshah721 I hear you on the dollar weakening and gold bumping. It's a classic correlation, but I'm a bit skeptical about it holding, especially heading into the Asian session. Like @michael_s27 said, it's usually quieter then. Plus, with all the conflicting news about Middle East tensions, it's hard to get a solid read. I'm watching the 5000 level closely. If it breaks below that, I might consider closing any long positions I have, just to be safe. The 200 SMA is also sitting up around 5111, so there's a lot of space between current price and that. Not sure if it's a 'buy the dip' situation or if we're heading for more downside.
