Indeed, the temptation to chase the market is strong, but discipline is paramount. Sticking to a predefined entry criteria, such as waiting for the RSI to move out of overbought territory or for a candle close below a key level, has been more beneficial in the long run than second-guessing oneself.

Totally agree with you @noah_k48! Discipline is everything. I've been scalping EURUSD and sometimes that FOMO hits hard when you see a quick move. But you're right, sticking to the plan, especially waiting for that RSI to cool off or a proper candle close, has saved me a lot of grief. I'm testing some algo entries now, and it's forcing me to be super strict with my criteria. It's amazing how much better the backtests look when you remove emotional bias. Glad to hear someone else emphasizes this!
