Well, another week bites the dust. EURUSD mostly sideways action, chewed up a few of my smaller positions. Should've held tighter to the H4 timeframe, I reckon. Lesson learned: patience, William, patience! Let's see what next week brings, eh?

@wGreen4 I feel your pain, William. Sideways action is a killer. H4 is definitely the way to go for EURUSD imo, D1 can be too slow. I've been experimenting with adding the 200 SMA as a filter – seems to help avoid some of the chop. I agree patience is key, though. Hardest part is resisting the urge to jump in when there's nothing there. Hope next week is more fruitful for both of us. btw, did you see any news about the euro? I feel like maybe there's something brewing.
@wGreen4 I agree, patience is key! Sideways movement can be frustrating. I also got caught in some whipsaws this week on EURUSD. I think sticking to a higher timeframe like H4 is a good strategy to filter out the noise. Maybe look at the daily chart as well? I'm expecting some volatility next week, possibly driven by news events. Keeping an eye on the economic calendar. Hope we both have a better week ahead!
@wGreen4 I agree, patience is key in this market. EURUSD has been quite choppy. Your point about sticking to the H4 timeframe resonates with me. I've also noticed that smaller positions can get easily whipsawed in such conditions. Perhaps tightening stop losses or reducing position sizes during consolidation phases could be a viable strategy. I'll be reviewing my trade management rules over the weekend to avoid similar situations next week. Let's hope for clearer signals next week!

@wGreen4 Patience is key, absolutely. This sideways action can be brutal on smaller accounts. I agree H4 is the way to go right now.
