With the market closed and news flow quiet, there is always a risk of a gap opening on Monday. I'll be checking pre-market futures to get a sense of direction before placing any trades.

That's a great point, @StormChaser5! Gap openings can be so tricky. I always check futures too, but sometimes even that isn't enough to prepare you for the actual open, haha. I think it's especially important to manage risk over the weekend. I usually reduce my position size or even close out entirely to avoid any surprises.
