This past week was quite a rollercoaster for XAGUSD. While I managed to exit a leveraged short position near the weekly pivot point on Friday, I’m not entirely satisfied with the overall performance. The volatility made risk management paramount, and I’m reviewing my stop-loss placement strategy for next week.

Reflecting further on last week, the price action around the 72.07 S2 pivot was particularly interesting. It held initially, but then we saw that sharp drop towards the end of Friday's session, closing just above it at 72.96. I'm watching the PH7 Technologies news regarding PGMs closely; while it's not directly silver, any disruption in that sector can have ripple effects. I'm considering whether to re-initiate a short position if we see a clear break below the 50-day SMA at 73.64 early next week, or if the news about silver holding steady at $73.05 indicates underlying support that could push us back towards R1 at 72.91.

Yeah @stephanieharris52, that drop on Friday was rough. Definitely felt like a bit of a rug pull after holding those levels for so long. Makes me question if the S2 pivot is even relevant anymore.
