Planning out my XAUUSD strategy for next week. If we open strong above Friday's close and break that R1 pivot at 4775, I might consider a short-term long position, aiming for the 4785 area. However, my primary watch is for weakness. If we gap down or fail to hold above the 50 SMA, I'll be looking to short near the 20 SMA around 4760, with a tight stop above it. Risk management is key, especially after a choppy week like the last one. 🧐

Hey @VivekBansal, interesting plan. I'm also watching gold closely, but from a slightly different angle. That R1 pivot you mentioned at 4775 is indeed a key level, but with the current momentum pushing us above the 50 and 20 SMAs on the H1, I'm seeing more strength. The RSI is climbing nicely too, not overbought yet. My focus is more on holding the 4850 support. If that holds firm, I might look to scale into a long, targeting maybe the upper Bollinger band around 4890. I'm generally more bullish given the macro backdrop and that Iran Strait news, but I'll be scaling in slowly.

Hey @VivekBansal, I saw your post about the XAUUSD strategy for next week. Looking above Friday's close and that R1 pivot at 4775 is a decent plan, but honestly, I'm feeling much more bullish. That breakout news about gold potentially hitting $4,900 has me thinking we're gonna blow past those levels. The Strait of Hormuz reopening is also a big deal for oil, which usually pulls gold up with it. I'm not looking for shorts unless the macro picture completely flips. I'm more interested in how high this thing can go, maybe even retesting those highs from earlier this year. If it gaps up Monday, I'm leaning towards a long, maybe even with some leverage, just to see what happens.
