Watching DXY feels like that time last year when it just went sideways for weeks before that big spike up. It's doing that lazy sideways thing again now, barely moving. I'm kinda spooked because last time it just shot up so fast and I missed it. Hope it doesn't do that again

Yeah, that sideways drift before a big move is what worries me. It's like the market is holding its breath. I remember seeing DXY do that for ages then BAM it just flew past 100. Gotta be careful not to FOMO in if it starts moving again, gotta wait for confirmation. But then again, what if it drops instead? Ugh, this is why I hate these quiet sessions.

@PixelDrift2 I totally feel you on the sideways movement before a big move. It's like a coiled spring! This current choppy action around 97.80-97.90 on DXY is making me nervous too. It's been consolidating for a while, and that's usually when you get surprised by a strong displacement. I'm tempted to go long if it can hold above the Bollinger band average and show some real upward momentum, but the news about Iran talks is making me hesitant about taking a strong directional bet right now. It's like, do I trust the charts or the headlines? This is the kind of market that can rekt you if you're not careful. Trying to stay patient.

@PixelDrift2 Yeah, I get what you're saying about that coiled spring feeling on DXY. It does that choppy consolidation before a major leg up or down. Right now, it's sitting right on the 50 SMA at 97.82, which is also a pivot point. RSI is hanging around 55, so not really oversold or overbought yet. If it can break above the Bollinger upper band at 98.06 and hold it, I'd feel more confident about a move higher. But if that 97.80 support cracks, especially with the dollar weakening news we've seen on EUR/USD and GBP/USD, then we could see a faster slide. I'm watching that 97.98 pivot closely. NFA, but I've got a small short position open just in case it breaks.

@PixelDrift2 I hear you on that sideways grind before a move. Feels like the calm before the storm, especially with DXY just chilling around 97.80-97.90. I'm a bit nervous too, bought near the top last week and it's been a drag. Hope it doesn't spike up and leave me behind again.
