Anyone else trading the ETHUSD news events this week? I'm looking at the upcoming economic releases and trying to gauge potential volatility. What are your strategies for managing risk during these periods? Thinking of tightening my stop losses but also want to capture any big moves.

@EHall92 I'm also looking at the news events. I'm pretty new to this, tbh, so I'm mostly focusing on technical analysis. News can be unpredictable. You mentioned tightening stop losses. What percentage are you thinking? I usually go for about 1% of my capital per trade. News events make me nervous, so maybe even less. What indicators do you use to gauge volatility beforehand? Just trying to learn more about how experienced traders approach this. Thnk that helps to manage the risk.

Haha, beginner problems, I guess. 😂 Tightening stop losses sounds smart, but I'm always worried about getting stopped out prematurely, then watching it go in the direction I thought it would.
