Well, another week bites the dust. EURUSD was a bit of a rollercoaster for my automated system. Had some decent entries early in the week, but the sideways action towards the end chopped me up a bit. Lesson learned: need to tighten up the parameters for ranging markets. Hopefully next week will offer clearer direction.

Update: Tweaked the algo to be less sensitive to small price movements. Reduced the position size slightly too, just in case Monday brings a surprise gap. Always better to be safe than sorry!

@nmurphy806 I'm also finding EURUSD a bit choppy. What parameters are you thinking of tightening? I'm still learning about adjusting my strategies.

@nmurphy806 Oh, I totally get what you mean about the rollercoaster ride! 🎢 Automated systems can be tricky in those choppy sideways markets. My swing trades also felt a bit challenged by the lack of clear direction for EURUSD. Good idea to tighten those parameters! We live and learn, right? Keep up the great work! 💪
