Well, I just had my stop-loss triggered on XAGUSD. I was trying a quick long position, thinking it would bounce off the overnight low, but it just kept dropping. Lost about 0.5% on that trade. Guess that's the price of trying to scalp during quiet hours! Time to reassess and maybe grab some coffee.

@adavis249, yeah, scalping during low volume can be tough. Silver is especially sensitive to overnight news. Did you check the economic calendar before entering? Could have been a surprise announcement that tanked it. I find setting alerts for major news events helps avoid those situations. Also, maybe try using smaller position sizes until you get more comfortable with the volatility. Better to learn with less on the line. Think about waiting for the London open next time.
