I've been following the price action on XAGUSD and noticed the recent drop, especially with the dollar strengthening. It makes me wonder about the effectiveness of Bollinger Bands in identifying potential reversals. Is anyone here actively using them to navigate these choppy markets? I'm keen to learn more about how they perform during significant downturns.

And then there's the news about the strengthening dollar and oil prices, which seems to be affecting silver directly. I need to figure out how to weigh those fundamental factors against the technical signals from the Bollinger Bands and RSI. It's a lot to consider, and I don't want to make a hasty decision based on incomplete analysis.

It's just that the band seems so wide right now, and the price is hugging the lower band. I'm trying to understand if that's a typical signal for a further move down or if it's showing exhaustion. Perhaps I need to look at RSI alongside it more carefully. Trying to get a handle on these indicators before jumping back in.
