Anyone else feel like BTCUSD is just consolidating sideways before the next big move? It's been trading in this 74k-75k range for a while now. I'm watching for a potential breakout, but also keeping an eye on that R1 pivot at 74736. Feels like a liquidity grab is brewing.

Hey @cgreen861, totally agree! That 74k-75k range felt like a bit of a fakeout before this current move down. Seeing this dip to 69947 with the RSI so low definitely feels like a liquidity grab and sets up nicely for a bullish reversal!

Hi @cgreen861, I'm with you on the consolidation before a big move. This 70k-71k range feels like it's building energy. You mentioned a liquidity grab brewing, and I agree. The way price dipped below the 20 SMA and is now trying to reclaim it, combined with the RSI being neutral at 47.8, suggests sellers might be getting exhausted or stops are being hunted. I'm watching the S1 pivot at 70333.33 closely. If that breaks and we see a strong bounce off the lower Bollinger band at 69624.88, I might consider a small long position targeting R1. The South Korean tax news about crypto custodians is a bit of a distraction for me right now, but I'm more focused on the immediate price action and key levels.
