Okay, I've just opened a small short position on the DXY at 99.55. I'm basing this on the fact that it's currently trading below the 20 SMA and the Bollinger bands are narrowing, suggesting a potential breakout to the downside. My stop loss is set quite tight, just above the pivot point at 99.45, and my target is the S1 support level around 99.24. I'm not expecting a huge move overnight, given the quiet session, but I want to at least capture some of this potential downward momentum. If it breaks below 99.30, I might consider adding to the position, but for now, it's a small test trade with strict risk management.
