I've been reviewing my trades from the last week on EURUSD. It seems I was too quick to jump into short positions when I saw the dollar strengthening. Actually, thinking more about that, the recent news about the Eurozone inflation potentially re-accelerating past 2.5% is a key factor I overlooked. If that data comes out stronger than expected, it could very well shift the sentiment and push EURUSD higher, regardless of dollar strength from other geopolitical events. I need to be more attuned to how these macro events impact currency pairs individually, not just react to broad dollar strength. I'm going to keep a closer eye on the upcoming inflation figures and see if they provide a good entry point for a long position. It's a bit unnerving trading with such uncertainty, but that's part of the game.
