Watching ETHUSD around the $2250 area tonight. The 50-day SMA is still sitting above price near $2289, acting as overhead resistance. RSI is sitting at 40.7, which isn't screaming oversold or overbought, just neutral. We haven't seen much conviction from smart money to push through these levels yet this session.

Further to that, the price action is consolidating nicely between the Bollinger Bands, which are quite tight right now. This usually precedes a move, but with liquidity so thin in Sydney, it could be anything. I'm keeping an eye on that S1 pivot level at $2237.43; a clean break below there, coupled with a volume spike, might give us a clue about the next leg. The FOMC statement yesterday was pretty much as expected, no real surprises to shake things up significantly, hence the quiet market.
