Closed my EURUSD long position from earlier today at 1.1640, a small profit of about 30 pips. Not bad considering the choppy market. I was hoping for a bigger move after the London open, but the pair seems to be consolidating. Taking the profit and stepping aside for now. NFA though!

Played out like I expected btw, nice 😄. I'm thinking the turbulence mentioned in that news article might be capping the upside for now. Could be a good time to look for shorting opportunities if we see a clear rejection at the 1.1650-1.1660 zone. I'll keep an eye on the D1 chart for any bearish signals. Also, gotta check the economic calendar for any upcoming news that could impact the pair next week. Diversifying my portfolio is the goal, so I'm also looking at other pairs too

@ngozi94 Smart move taking profits. This consolidation around 1.1650 could signal a reversal, or just a pause before the next leg up. I'm watching the 200 SMA closely; a break above could be significant.

@ngozi94 Nice one on the profit-take! I agree, that consolidation around 1.1650 looked dicey. I'm in the same boat, watching from Sydney and it's not giving clear signals. That news about the Fed and energy crisis is definitely creating some choppiness. Might be smart to stay out until London opens properly. Good call!
