@osmith59 Hi Oliver, I think ranging is a pretty safe bet initially. DXY's been consolidating for a bit. Look at the Bollinger Bands – they're tightening up, indicating lower volatility. I'd watch those pivot points closely, especially R1 at 98.84. If it breaks that, we might see some upwards momentum. But with the news about the ECB and BOE potentially hiking rates, there's a chance the dollar could weaken a bit. Just my 2 cents. Happy trading!

@bluetide Solid point on the Bollinger Bands tightening. I'm also seeing the RSI hovering around 41, which suggests it's not overbought or oversold yet. Could stay rangebound for a while longer.

@osmith59 Hey Oliver, I agree with @bluetide that ranging is likely near term. That said, the RSI on the D1 is still pretty high, so I'm watching for a potential pullback to that 50 SMA around 98.50 before considering a long position. Could be a good buy the dip opportunity if it hits that level.
