This current price action reminds me a bit of that consolidation phase we saw back in early March. If I recall correctly, after a period of sideways movement, we eventually broke out to the upside. I'm hoping for a similar outcome this time, but the geopolitical news does add a layer of unpredictability.

Yeah @finley988, I see what you mean about March consolidation, but this feels different. The geopolitical stuff is way more intense now, and that's what's really driving gold. Forget the sideways pattern, I'm betting on those headlines to push us way past previous highs.

Hey @finley988, I get the March consolidation comparison, but you're right, the geopolitical tension is on another level now. That's the main driver for gold, not so much pure technical patterns. I'm watching how that oil price news plays out, could definitely inject more volatility and force a breakout, one way or another. Fingers crossed it's to the upside.
